BOAT AND BLADES

1 hr

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

You will be given a guide around City of Cambridge Rowing club, the gym and the boat bay – and an opportunity to sit in a boat.

The experience includes a guided tour, followed by a detailed explanation of the rowing technique on a rowing machines (ergometer / ergs).  You will then be given the opportunity to try this yourselves.  We will then head downstairs into the boat bay where you will get to understand the different types of boats that you see on the river. Providing we have 3+ adults in the group, you will be given the opportunity to take a boat out, place it on the water – and then get in the boat for that Kodak moment!

If time permits, guests can purchase and enjoy a cold/hot drink on our balcony, overlooking the River Cam.
