Swimming Ability

For the experience day, it is NOT essential for all participants to be competent swimmers although lifejackets are available on request. If however, you would like to continue learning how to row, then this is one of the British Rowing (BR) guidelines. ​

Assumption of Risk 

The Client agrees that their participation in CRE is voluntary. Furthermore, the client agrees to assume any risk associated with participating in the event, and releases Cambridge Rowing Experience from any and all claims of loss or damage that may arise during the Client’s participation. Such releases are without limitation and include attorneys’ fees, personal injury, property damage, and any other losses or damages suffered by the Client.

Total Indemnification 

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold CRE harmless against any and all claims of loss or damage, including damage to CRE property caused by the Client.

Personal Well Being 

The Client hereby warrants that they are physically fit and capable of participating in event without undue risk.

Rights to Cancel 

CRE maintains the right to deny the Client’s participation in the rowing experience if they deem that participation would risk loss or damage to any party.

Photography and Filming 

Photographs and footage will be taken throughout your Cambridge Rowing Experience. These will be used for marketing and publicity, on our website and in social media by CRE or any of our affiliate partners. We will also share these with you and all other participants in your boat. 

 

 

Covid-19 Compliancy 

This is a Covid compliant event but we do request that each participant takes precaution to help protect one another - and minimise the risk of transmission. 

 

 

Applicable Law 

This waiver agreement shall be governed by the UK law. Any legal proceeding, claim, or lawsuit related to the Client’s participation in the rowing experience, shall take place exclusively in courts located in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. 

 

 

 

The Client agrees that this waiver agreement shall remain in full force and effect without modification and that participation in the rowing experience, is pursuant to the terms of this agreement.
