Our youth courses are run by extremely patient coaches who focus on individual needs and designed to ease your child into rowing. They will get the opportunity to learn SWEEP rowing in an 'eight' - the most stable boat in our fleet and the same as what you see in the Cambridge vs Oxford boat race. Suffice to say, this will be an unforgettable course for them to take part in... and be the total envy of all parents!
Rowing is a popular sport at many further and higher education institutions around the country. Our week long course can give your child a real insight into the wonderful world of rowing. Having this experience under their belts, will give them a huge advantage in making connections as well as looking great on their university applications. We welcome students from all backgrounds.
What can we expect in this course?
A lot of fun! Incredibly, everything you see in the video above is what you can expect from the five day course. That's right, we will get them rowing like champs in no time at all!

Our course fees are specifically for local children in our community as an initiative to get them into rowing. These only take place during school holidays.
We can however, cater for private/school course bookings throughout the year. Please contact us here for a tailored quote.
Our spaces will be restricted to a maximum group size of 18 per group. If there are no dates showing as available, or no spaces left, please register your interest here and we will try our best to accommodate you.

IMPORTANT
It's worth noting that this is a teamsport and as such, your child will be expected to attend the full course. The boat holds a minimum and maximum of 8 people so if you do not turn up for your session, we cannot take the boat out for the remaining 7 members of your team. We cannot accept any cancellations made in the final week leading up to the course date.
